Hi Expat Members in Bahrain,

Wish you all a safe and productive day.

I need the info on good reliable trustworthy and affordable bahrain's public notary. Just to sign few documents in front of them as I can't return back to my country, and there is no country embassy in Bahrain.

Please share with me whenever possible:
1. Name
2. Office name (Law firm, notary firm)
3. Contact number
4. Website
5. Address / Location

Thanks everyone.
Stay safe.

XTang

Do you mean public or private notaries?

Public notaries are part of Ministry of Justice and the office is in GOSI Mall.   No individual contact details exist and you need to queue like everyone else there.  Private notary list is on sijilat.bh.

More to private notary then. sorry for the lingo confusion. i always thought public notary means the ones used by public / local, based locally in Bahrain or home countries, nothing to do with govt services.

Thanks again for your generous sharing.

You can get the full list from the below link. Please note that it's in Arabic. Use Google Lens for Translation.

I want to notarize my single status affidavit issued by the indian embassy so i can later get it apostilled. Do I use a public or private notary? what's the difference?

I am not sure about which notary for this document - you have to ask a lawyer.

Apostille
As it is already attested by Indian Embassy, You can directly go to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Manama or LMRA Sanabis and tell them that you need to get it  Apostille and they will do it for you.
