As mentioned before in the above post, you must already be living in Italy, and have a substantial history of helping others on Expat.com before you may be considered.  New members with no posts won't be accepted.

You apparently did not read my post, above yours.

YOU MUST BE LIVING IN ITALY!  Planning to visit Italy does not qualify you as knowledgeable about LIVING in Italy.

CleoDe

@Priscilla

Hello, I have been here in Italy for about half a year, after spending many months just visiting in the past decade.

And have more questions than answers at that point!!!

I accomplished getting a Tax number, opening a bank account, and getting into a mess with the property purchase. Fun!

It's a great idea to get people who are acclimated in Italy already and can help with advice or share an experience :)

I want to connect with the English-speaking community in Liguria for social reasons.

oops,

Hmm, it may be a misunderstanding.

The initial post says:

"We are currently looking for volunteers to help the expat community in Italy.

It seems I mistakenly assumed that "living in Italy" includes living the life and doing things.

Apologies for being OFF the intended TOPIC.

Cleo from US/Liguria.
