Im 21 and from Dublin, Ireland.
I maybe moving to Limburg, Netherlands and I am quiet nervous whether to go for it or not as I would like to make friends but I am afraid that I won't as I will be an au pair to a family, I have not made my decision whether to move yet. I am wondering is there many Irish/ English living within the area along with locals that would be up for having a laugh, forming new friendships etc. also possibly were good meeting places are in the area to meet new people

You can get friends in the netherlands,
I am not english or irish but french 
I am working in Amsterdam and live in Hilversum.
I have some au pair friends (from mexico), and they really enjoy work and life here.
