Visa Cancellation or Stage 1 approval

Hi ,

I am currently in the process of moving from one company to another company.

I have dependent pass with me together. Currently I am in Malaysia. My current company already applied for Online cancellation from the system, now need to wait for physical submission for cancellation.

According to my current company, in order to cancel the Visa, they will need the Stage 1 Approval first.

So my new company already get the Stage 1 Approval for me, but not yet for the dependent. According to my new company, they need to cancel the dependent visa first in order to apply for the new dependent pass.

Can i know what is the process for this ? Whether its cancellation first then stage 1 , or Stage 1 first then cancellation ?
