Amazon Prime Day

A little heads up. I have not experienced this but have heard tell of. Sometimes reshippers use the before sale price to access value and in turn taxes on goods.

Not sure what you can do about it. But something to think about the next couple days if you are ordering some "bargains."

And stagger your delivery dates, because IIRC, Planner and others have had multiple packages, each under $200, arrive on the same day and had to fight to avoid taxes.

How do you buy from Amazon and ship there? Also, is there a list of reshippers?

Thank you.

Enroll with a shipper and they provide the address to which Amazon  ships in the U.S.  Most are in Miami.  EPS, CPS, Pacnsend are some that deliver in the DR and have sites online.  You then pick up the package at their office.  Charge is usually around RD$200 per pound.  All that is for items valued at less then $200, including shipping.

In Punta Cana/ Bavaro... SipCo delivers to your door for free!  (Well, it's included in their price, about $250RD/lb, and they round up.
The delivery is nice.
