Hello all , I am relocating with my family for a job based in Slough. Currently considering where to live. I would like to know if there are others who work in Slough. What are the nice areas you chose to live in (not more than half an hour commute) thanks

Hi there,

I used to work in Slough and still live about 30 mins drive away (not counting rush hour).

I live in Frimley, near Camberley and Farnborough and it's quite nice here.

I myself was never a fan of Slough itself.

But to get an idea of what other places are like, I would recommend this website: https://www.streetcheck.co.uk/

It will give you an idea of house types in the area, what kind of people live there, culture, employement, crime, what is nearby and broadband.
