Processing time for Professional card post Brexit

Hello pals, I am new to the forum.
I submitted an application for a professional card and visa through the Belgian embassy in London 3 weeks ago.
I am a software developer, freelancer with 20 years experience in the UK and got a job offer with contract from an organisation based in Brussels.

There are 2 middle men a big consultancy and a job agency between the Brussels international organisation and myself.

What is the current processing time for a professional card to work in Brussels for a non EU citizen ?

I thought it will be a straightforward application but not looking as expected .

Job at risk due to delay in authorisation from the Brussels region.

Any advice or recent experience will be most appreciated.
