The European Union driver's license is considered a “harmonized EU license.” This means the license is valid everywhere in the EU. Being a part of the EU, Romania recognizes the driver's licenses of all other EU countries. If you have a driver's license that was issued in an EU country, you can legally drive in Romania for an indefinite period of time, up until the expiration of the license.

Join a driving school ,pass the test , medical etc, and you are good to go in 1 month or 2.

We looked into this for some one 2 weeks ago its can be a simple process of having medical and a minimum of 16 hrs driving a manual car with a driving school.. No test involved.. Its just to prove u can drive a manual car.  If your last medical is more than 3 months I'm afraid new auto medical is needed

It depends where the license was issued, some countries are not accepted and in that case a new test is needed.

Saudi Arabia driving license can exchange in Romania driving license?
