Welcome Sheba,

I felt the same way after my first visit. So moved from Canada (which is also a beautiful country) to enjoy living near the ocean.

Hi,
I fell in love with Portugal too, mainly because the people there are so polite and honest! The good weather and scenery is a bonus!
I haven’t travelled the whole world but I’d like to know if anyone has come across other countries with beautiful weather and good people.
Kind regards,
Zoe.

Ola Sheba,

Welcome to the forum and to Portugal. We also had moved to Portugal about 10 years ago and love it.

Hope you have an enjoyable and productive stay in Portugal. If you need any more particular information, you are most welcome.

Regards

Carmelino

We move to Portugal in October 2019 and find the living experience very enjoyable.  Mist people in the retail stores can speak English so language is NOT a problem.  You can register as a EU resident and get your papers to become a legal resident including registering for medical coverage.  Private medical insurance is available.  We used a local woman to help us with the paperwork.  She is very good and her rates are reasonable.  If interested send me an email and I will provide contact information - danpplute@gmail.com
