New members of the USA forum, introduce yourselves here - 2021

Hi, I am originally from the Uk but have been in Canada for 12 years. My husbands work would like us to relocate to Las Vegas, his office will be in Henderson. I was just wondering if anybody had any advice regarding high schools? Are the public school good or should we be looking into private schools for my son? Any advice greatly appreciated.

No, this is the forum for expats in the US, not a place where you can "get" a job, a house, and a wife in Algeria.

USA is the 2nd largest country in the world (sharing that 2nd place with Canada), consists of 50 states plus District of Columbia.  The country has over 19,000 towns and cities.  In which city do you wish to find accommodation, and what kind of accommodation do you have in mind?

Welcome to the site.  I have to admit, I don't come to the site as often as I use to.  COVID and the travel restrictions have clipped my wings.  We can't even go back to our home overseas.  We are hoping to go back soon.  Take care and good luck with your travels.

My name is Bjorn Andre Van Rensburg. I am from Namibia ( Neighbours) of South Africa. I just joined this group and I am excited to be here and mostly excited to meet everyone.

I am a very talented young man. I am a writer,song writer and rapper. I graduated High school in 2013 and have worked in multiple jobs . I am engaged to a beautiful and lovely young lady which graduated from the University of Namibia in 2020,which she obtained a science of bachelors degree in Biochemistry.

Together we always had the desire to relocate to the US. But we need either employers that can hire us or we need to get green card for citizenship in the US to be eligible .

We both have the passion and desire to make a great difference in our lives.While we are still young. I am 25 and she 26. If anyone can give us guidance and help we would appreciate it very much.

Hi Nami - A lot depends on which state you're working in as well as where eg rural. It also depends on the type of facility and the patient base (I'm in healthcare as well) Either way in sure you'll have a good experience here in the US! :-)
