Employment and new work practices in Morocco

Hello everyone,

In diverse sectors, employment in Morocco has been tremendously affected by the current crisis.
We invite you to share your experience on these changes in the professional world in Morocco.

Did new work practices emerge over the last few months?

Is working from home becoming the new normal or is it still marginal?

What about recruitment in companies located in Morocco?

Were there new laws passed regarding work? If so, what were the consequences on the labour market?

Finally, what is your personal experience on that matter and on your own job specifically?

Thank you for your contribution!

thank you for the info...

Thanks for the info Cheryl.
Hope the pandemic calms down in the coming months. Who knows... ?
So I can move to Morocco next year in June/July.
And I can begin my search for work and start a new way of living ;-)

I'm an English coach in Casa. The border closing happened in the middle of a business trip, and displaced me. I am waiting on the government to either open up borders completely, or make a procedure for entrepreneurs and consultants residing in Morocco, which were displaced. Many business owners don't officially live in Morocco however live and even have apartment contracts to maintain... They have been lock out, and the government has still not created any protocol, nor procedure for these individuals.
