I have MM2H pass can I change my local driving license to Malaysia license?

Having MM2H wont matter, most anyone can have a local licence, but do you NEED one? If you have an international licence from an approved source like AAA in USA, thats enough. Others who cant convert can take the courses for a licence but they are only in the Malay language. Ive been using my international AAA licence for the past 20 years with no problems and see no advantage to having a local licence unless a person has a keen desire to feed the govt hard earned money because what, its fun to do?
