Expat Neighborhoods in KL

There are several well established and not so well established expat neighborhoods in KL. Some of the better known ones are Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Damansara, Bangsar South, KL Sentral, KLCC area and also Hartamas. Then it also depends on your budget. There are expats that live all over KL including Shah Alam, Taman Desa and even in Bukit Jalil and Putrajaya. You need to know where your work place will be and also if you have children then where they will school and finally your budget.

But I think the better ones are Bangsar and Mont Kiara where you can find apartments with reasonable rents, where there are shopping malls and public transport, banks, post office etc but good quality apartments and houses.
