We have been here near Monchique since October 2019. And we are delighted with the change. Ireland is a beautiful country and people. But so is Portugal. The locals are very welcoming and friendly. The nature is spectacular and suprisingly different from our norm. Our house gecko often appears when least expected and delights us.

Everyone has been affected by the virus. So no need to dwell. But I have to congratulate Portugal so far with their efforts. A Europe leader in dealing with the crisis.

Sounds like made the right decision, my family and I are trying all we can at the moment to get a move to Portugal bit at present no joy, keeping positive 👍all the best with your adventure , Ben and fee and the hobbits
