Hi all!
So I was planning on making this trip in a couple of years, but looks like my plans are being moved forward given the Covid-19 malarky, so it would be nice to hear what the people who live there really think.
Safe, clean, friendly, sociable, good location generally?

Hi Kendy,
Although I am from Basel (so not 100% objective?) I would love to help. What city or country are you comparing Basel to? Within Switzerland Basel is certainly an very attractive place to live and work, with lots of ExPats. Basel is an art city with many world-class museums, but generally rather low-profile. Not as exciting as Zürich (if that's what you're looking for) but a very nice place to visit or stay. Let me know if you want to know anything specific, happy to help.
