Healthcare Science jobs

Hello!

My Husband and I are looking into relocating to Italy. I have a BSc degree in Physiology and I am currently working as a Respiratory Physiologist for NHS Scotland. I also have lots of healthcare experience as I have worked as a Dental Nurse prior to this. Does anyone have any information about finding work as a Respiratory Physiologist or any other kind of Clinical Physiology jobs in Italy? Would I need to be fluent in Italian to work in healthcare?

Thanks in advance.

Gemma

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Any regulated profession will need to have the qualifications checked and certified by the new regulator (so - Italian Health authority), you will also need to speak fluent Italian.

One last thing, don't be surprised if you can't find any Respiratory Physiologist jobs advertised in Italy - if you believe the Internet, the job only exists in the UK and USA and is on the list of the most rapidly declining professions in the world!

Hope this helps.
