prolong a tourist visa?

Hi all!
I'm stuck in France on a tourist visa. My Visa is valid but my 90 days are over. Is it possible to prolong my stay now? My airline can only reissue my ticket in the beginning of May the earliest. There are no flights in April.

I am sure others will have more helpful suggestions, I would suggest contacting the prefecture for your area by email, also your local maire.
Print out all your emails so you have documentation that you have tried to find a resolution.

Hello,

Which area of France are you in?
You can search for the prefecture and take an appointment there. They announced a new rule about an extension of all 'titre de sejour' / visa due to Covid19. For example i will give you a link to the prefecture where i live "Ille et Vilaine" : http://www.ille-et-vilaine.gouv.fr/Dema … -Etrangers .

Thank you for your help.
I've done a lot of research online recently. It seems that an extend of a tourist visa is only possible before the 90 days are over. I have been here much longer than that since the border closure. And I'm scared of the consequences.
