New Mobile phone - extra costs

So anyone planning to buy a sim free mobile phone here.. good news, prices and choices are awesome.

Get your SIM from one of the major networks depending on your needs and budget.
I went for mobifone because wife and family use it. Though so far the GPS and signal is a bit iffy. Been caught out using GPS to book grab and it shows wrong location (yep I kno should have checked)

Bought a Redmi note 8 Pro as a temporary phone and it's a great handset. Good features, good price.

Then have to pay store 50,000 VND to complete set up and install some essential software. Ok here's the thing, even wife say this common practice. Then check what has been installed... AVG free and Google Docs.. which again is free...🤔 I know it's only 50,000 VND but any one can install free apps.
