Since we download almost everything we watch, how are the internet companies policies regarding downloading? Are there restrictions?

No limitations so far; peer to peer isn't illegal yet.

If you have a good connection, you can download your movies, series etc... I do the same. I don't watch cable or local TV; I download anything and everything I want to watch, especially the series and children's cartoon (as they are in french here..not very appealing).
