Hi,
I have a question regarding the student visa application for Belgium.
I just applied for the visa from Turkey for the year 2020-2021.
When my visa gets granted, can i immediately go to Belgium? Or will they put the dates on the visa for later since the academic year is later this year?

nope, student visa D are valid for one year.
At some point you'll need to request an A ID card, which will have the same validity as your visa. And you'll have to renew it each year.
So you should request your visa from September to September (when your studies start)
