Recently i opened a Timo bank account with only my passport & one year visa, quick and easy about 1/2 hour. debit card included.
BUT VP BANK WILL NOT deposit US dollars from me. Had to go to another bank,
change into VND, get a stamped receipt and then COME BACK TO VP bank, they will deposit the vnd to my vimo account.
So had to go to bank across the street, change money then come back to VP bank and deposit
crazy.
feels like we foreigners are guilty of something until proven innocent.
Never felt so distrusted and suspect, conducting business,

I wonder if they would deposit USD if you have an ATM or bank withdrawal receipt from your home country (USA).

VP bank? Vimo? Thought you were talking about Timo? Is VP another name for Timo? Was there a transfer option to have money transferred from your US bank directly into Timo?
