Good evening,
I have some questions on the self employed visa.
-I m physiotherapist and I would like to know if it s difficult to obtain this visa.
-do you think I can do it by myself or it s better to pass by someone?
-how long it takes.

If this profession is classified as medical, then you would first need to get the approval of the Medical Council. You would be eligible for a Self-employed permit. The process of Self-employed permit takes roughly around 1-2 months but the tricky part is getting the approval of medical council. If this is not a medical field, then still the authorities will check with the Ministry of Health with regards to number of physiotherapists on the island and whether there is any space to have foreigners in this sector.
