Dear Expats,

Kindly advise me about medical insurance for senior citizens coming to Saudi on 1 year visit visa.
Shall it be done along with the visa processing in the home country or it should be purchased individually from any insurance providing company here in Saudi?
If yes, then how much amount shall be paid to get nominal medical insurance.

Please share your experience and help me on this.

Pre-requisite of processing KSA visit visa of the member of your family in your home country is to have health insurance policy.

Insurance for visit visa has to purchased at the time of application - the standard cost will vary depending on the country of application.

Don't confuse this insurance with HEALTH insurance. The visit visa insurance only covers you for emergency medical treatment not normal medical expenses.
