Professional Dog Trainer wanting to relocate

Hi
I am a professional dog trainer and behaviour specialist, with 38 years professional experience. I am former Air force Police Dog Trainer and Drug Detection Dog Trainer, also former Australian Quarantine Detector Dog Trainer. I currently operate my own dog training business in Australia, but hoping to relocate to Vietnam to set up a small business specialising in  dog training & behavioural services for dog owners, attending their residence and training at local parks.

Is it difficult for a foreigner to set up a business in Vietnam? I am just looking at an LLC, as it will be just me operating the business.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction, on how I can find information on the process for doing this?

Thank you

Doing business here is not easy, but seeing as you are a one-man show it would be much easier. You would be in a niche market, so the locals cant undercut you, that's a big plus.

Wonder if the government here would be interested as well?

Thanks colinoscapee

Yes I have done some research, and as far as I can tell, there is only really one dog trainer there.

I do have a cousin moving back to Vietnam from Australia. He came back to Aus to apply for his pension. He has excellent knowledge about the place and will be a great asset

I emailed the lawyers at that website you sent me. Thank you for the link.

I was wondering that myself. I wouldn't know who to contact or how.

Hello,

I am curious if you found out if you decided to go ahead during this time, are you currently in Vietnam?

Kind regards,

Georgia
