My intention is to move my family from a comfortable life in Canada to an equally cozy one in Sri Lanka. Hi, it's nice to hear you are planning to move to sri lanka. Yes, it's beautiful here. A lot of things to arrange before you are a citizen here.
Your visa, all depends on your job. You can invest, under BOI, or you can apply for resident visa, but only if you have a job here.. The company will supply you with a visa. Or your spouse has a sri lankan nationality, than you get a spouse visa..
Other than this, you can get only a tourist visa.
First 1month on arrival, after that extention of another 2 months.. An there after..
You have to have a good reason to stay... That's my experience through all the years..
