Dubai airport - Transfer from Terminal 2 to Terminal 2

I am flying from Istanbul to Dubai ,arriving at terminal 2 and need to transit from terminal 2 to terminal 1 to catch my onward flight to India. These are two separate tickets.

I hear that these two terminals are not connected so wanna know if there are any shuttles that connects terminal 2 and terminal 1 ?

If yes I wanna know how long does it take to reach terminal 1 from 2.

Also wanna know since this is just a terminal transit do I need a visa ?

I dont intend to carry any check in baggage. It is just gonna be one cabin bag.

Hi,

Yes Terminal 1 & 2 not connected, If you do have single ticket with transit then you will get support from airport service team.

Since you said having two different travel ticket you need to travel yourself from terminal 2 to terminal 1. Also note that, when you exit from terminal 2 you need to complete emigration process and visa requirements etc.

There will be taxi available from terminal 2 to terminal 1, it would cost 45 dirhams (AED).
