I have recently moved to Kuala Lumpur from Abu Dhabi , UAE. I lived in UAE for 20 years. I am an IT professional. I have 3 kids and looking for making some friends here. I am originally from Kerala, India.
I don't think you necessarily need to come here to make friends. And possibly I would advise you to be wary of people who you have never met who wish to be friends with you. I would always suggest making friends to natural way, perhaps joining groups or classes. Maybe consider joining painting or sewing or any kind of art and craft workshops etc.
