Hello i have a Lao wife, we live in Thailand are are moving to Lao. I want to take my Thai car with me to Laos. What is the procedure for registering this car in Lao if possible? The car is fully payed off and I have the blue book in my name.

Perhaps get you Lao wife to contact the Lao Embassy for information. There is a need for insurance and if bringing it in permanently there may be an import duty to pay. Being right hand drive makes driving in Laos a challenge!
Have you thought of selling it and buying over in Laos.

Good idea as the paperwork and the hassle is not worth it. Plenty of used cars for sale in Vientiane.
