We are renewing our Romanian pensioner's residence visa's and this year we are having a tough time getting our Romanian health insurance. We went to the finance office and paid our taxes and tried to pay for our health insurance and was told we needed some kind of declaration from another office. At the other office they told me I had to go online to this website and print the other document. anaf.ro and I can't find anything on the website about health insurance. I'm hoping someone can help me please...

My take on it is:
It has nothing to do with Health Insurance. ANAF is the equivalent of IRS in the States, they just want to see what your tax situation is in order to issue you with Health Insurance. Cheers.
