If you know a chinoy (chinese/filipino), ask them for an honest competent doctor? If you already have an honest competent dentist, ask him or her? Ask a pharmacist, for they likely know the locals. Ask local expats in your community - there usually are a few? - for who they'd recommend or stay away from? Should work out...
