Hello kietto,

You will find quite a few language institutes which offer Thai languages classes here: Language institutions in Bangkok. Make sure to give them a call to find out if their classes suit whichever requirements you may have.

Alternatively, you can also drop a free advert to look for language classes in Bangkok offered by private tutors.

Are you hoping that learning Thai will help you in any work endeavour or in your day-to-day life? What are your plans in Bangkok ?

All the best,

Thank you very much for your help Diksha ! First of all i just want to learn the language to be able to live for 4 years..I m not really plan anything yet , but probably i will take cooking course after the language and after second years

In the old days, we all had this book:

"Fundamentals of the Thai Language"

Although you should have a hard copy to carry around, it is also available online:

As it mentions, the 5th edition (the black book) is preferable to the 6th edition.

That will get you started. For actual lessons, AUA used to be the place to go:

Good suggestion on the book, John. Will look into it as I'm interested in learning as well.
