Hi,
My husband is staying in Oman and I would like to go there. He has my name in his passport, But I didn't endorsed his name in my passport,is that a problem for going for a visit or when later converting to family visa.

No, you don't need your name is his passport in order to obtain a family or a visit visa.

Your husband need to have your name in his passport whereas if you don't have his name in your passport, there are no complications going to arise later only untill Oman ministry introduce any new law.
