Hi fellow expats! So my inquiry is about acquiring a Bahrain visa. I am planning to be in Bahrain this weekend August 8,2019 by car. This would be the first time I will travel with my husband and thru our personal car from Riyadh. So my first question is.. If the profession of my husband in his iqama is General electrician, does he need to get the visa in Bahrain embassy here in riyadh? And lastly, if were using our own car, do we need to pay something for the car when we arrive in the causeway? I am hearing something that we will be paying for the car insurance. If so, can someone pls confirm. Thank you in advance!😊

your husband having General Electrician visa will definitely have to pay for the visit visa of 50 riyals and the vehicle insurance (3Bd or 5Bd)

Hi romy! Thanks for the info. I would like to clarify if we are going to get his Bahrain visa? Is it upon arrival or in Bahrain embassy here in riyadh? Since some are saying that it depends on your profession as to where you can get the visa. Thanks!😊

you will get the visa at the causeway since you are residents of KSA. they'll look for your exit/reentry visa. and that's it.  no hassle, its very easy, both Saudi and Bahrain Immigration authorities at Causeway  are very helpful at all times.
