Where to buy a property

Hello

Thinking about buying a house/villa, but preferably somewhere popular with ex-pats. Not Grand Baie though.

Any opinions or advice would be great.

Grand Baie may not be the right choise to buy a property. If you are looking for a beach side villa or even an apartment, consider Tamarin (West part of the island). Tamarin is one of the most preferred places by expats.

Other good options in the west are Flic en Flac, Albion and towards the north you may consider Grand Gaube, Mapou and Goodlands.

Then again it depends which type of climate you prefer. If you prefer slightly cooler places, then Floreal at the Centre of the Island is also a nice place to stay.
