I had work in Malaysia Jan 2017 with 1 year of Employment Pass category 3 and June 2017 I get back home and I got sick so I decided not to get back Malaysia for work in 2017. I didn't cancel my Employment Pass yet. My EP is valid until Jan 2018. Now 2019 I apply for a new job in Malaysia and if I got it, can I get new EP from new company again?

Dose my old EP expire automatically since I haven't canceled it yet?

An uncancelled Employment Pass will not disappear from the system. Just think that in a pc, you have created a document and if you do not delete the contents, it will always remain in the System.
Later when you need to come back to Malaysia again, you might be denied entry
