Have you used Airbnb to let your house in Colombo or other cities to tourists?
Did you have to have official permission from the local council and/or tourist board?
If yes, what documents did you have to produce?

From what I know, Airbnb need to approve you, and they themselves get the permits from the relevant bodies.
