Accomodation information near Ruwi.

Hi Members,

I am krishan , from india and recently got a job offer in Muscat. I am a married man but initially i am coming alone until i get family visa from my company. I will be joining my company from August onwards and for initial period of 30 days, accomodation will be provided by the company, post which i have to arrange for myself.

My company is situated in Ruwi, thus request you to please suggest for the followings:

1. Please suggest a Indian neighborhood near Ruwi where i can get a apartment on rent or any other favourable neighborhood for Indian expat.

2. Will it be possible to get a room on sharing basis? Recommended?

Hello Krishan,

There are plenty of accomodation available in Ruwi and the good news for you is ...over the last 2 / 3 years , the rentals actually have come down mainly for 2 reasons.

1. Most of the offices have shifted from Ruwi
2. The expat population (mostly Indian) are on the decline.

In fact you shall have all kinds of accomodation aplenty ( 1 BHK/2BHK/ Sharing) .
I would suggest, 30 days is a very long time and certainly good enough to find out the accommodation you desire. This should be the easiest thing once you land up.
