I am planning to shift to Malaysia ,Kuala Lumpur , I am currently in negotiations with one of the companies in KL ...need help on what would be a right amount to shift to KL .
About my current standard of living :
1. I am 36, Indian ,living in India and currently earning 90,000 USD (pre tax) .
2. We are a family of 3 . My kid goes to a good school .
3. We own 2 cars .( Honda type)
4. We go on frequent holidays ,including one international trip anually .
I am confused on what should be the base minimum amount beyond which I should target .

At least same salary, but KL is more expensive than India, however main issue is school fees. These are enormous in KL so you should ask same salary plus free school places at the best schools eg ISKL and full medical benefits plus free accommodation plus lease car. Anything less why move?
