Visiting visa got denied

Hi My name is Marie and I apply last June 3 2019 in VFS cebu for a schengen visa and they submitted it in bangkok Swedish embassy because since may 1 2019 they are the one handling all the visa requests in the Philippines. And today i got my passport back with a letter that it was denied.

My main reason for applying for a visitor visa is to meet my boyfriend for the first time. We have been exchanging messages and video call each other for more than 1 year now. And because he has a traumatic experience in the plane because of his vacation in Greece 10 years ago we decided that i should be the one to visit them he and his daughter. I submitted all the required documents needed except for the work certificate and land title. But i made an explanation letter and also attached some remittances and screenshot of our personal conversation. I was hoping that i will get approved since everything was submitted and i have valid reason why i dont have the lacking documents.

I was hoping someone here can help us on what to do so that when i apply again next time my schenge visa will be approved 🙏🙏🙏

Perhaps its your financial status and personal situation that dont make a good case for Schengen visa. Just guessing.

According to this https://www.swedenabroad.se/en/about-sw … citizens/# they normally give you the reason to reject and what options you may have afterwards.

My personal opinion is either your boyfriend has to defeat his trauma for you or you have to make yourself a nice career woman profile for him. All the best!

Do you have permanent job in your country?
Does your bank statement indicate stable economy with consistent income?

If the answer to both of them is No, its likely visa is denied for your financial and personal situation. Your boyfriend sponsoring the trip is another thing.

I dont have a job my contact just ended last december 2018 and yes my bank statement has sustainable income monthly since i used to have work.

If I'm understanding it correctly, on paper you cant show you have stable employment after December 2018?

Basically your paperwork is pointing that you are in a shaky condition and its possible you might end up in a situation where you cant support yourself financially on this trip.
