Student Visa

Hi everyone,
I just graduated with an associate degree in accounting from the US. I would like to know what are my options if I want to get a student visas in colombia?

I'm already here on a 90 days tourist visa stamp.

You don't say where in Colombia you are.  If you are in Bogotá or Cartagena you can go to the Cancillería offices noted here:

I would go to them and talk directly to them to determine exactly what you need to do to get a visa as a student.

But you can get a 90 extension to your stay as a tourist, for 180 days total - it's not really a visa although everyone calls it one.  It's just the stamp in your passport allowing you to be a tourist:

Colombia now issues only three main types of visas - V for Visitor, R for Resident, and M for Migrant.  Click on the link under Quick Visa Guide:

Here's what they say about a visa for studying:

12.    With what type of visa can I study?
You will be able to pursue studies in Colombian territory if you have a Visitor Visa, in the case of academic exchange programs, art or trade training, or studies other than primary or secondary studies.

You can pursue higher education studies in undergraduate and secondary education while holding a Migrant Visa.

If you already have an institution picked out where you want to study, I'd try going to them to find out if they have information about what you need to do, from their admissions office.
