MoH interview Oman for doctors

Hi,
My friend has been called for interview for specialist physician jobs in moh oman. Anyone attended interview recently? I heard there was one in April in Bangalore.
If people can share their experience, like how long to get offer letter when selected, time for visa and joining?
I recently completed my contract with a pvt hospital.and exited oman on good terms.
I wanted to know if ministry is a good experience and whether noc is required even to get into ministry jobs after proper completion of contract?
Can u take ur family along when u join MoH as a doctor?
Kindly post if anyone has prior experience.
