I am from India and have an offer as an assistant professor in Saudi Arabia. My husband is a mechanical engineer with 8years of experience in India. I read about the law, according to which, dependant engineers cannot work in the kingdom. So please help me with the questions below. I am not finding any information regarding this
Can my husband come in on a dependant visa and then look for a job ?
Will he be hired and the visa status be changed?
Or should he come on a visit visa and look for a job?

I read your post and i am in the same situation. My wife is a doctor and we are plannning to all relocate to Saudi Arabia.
