You want to move to the Philippines?

Another saga dealing with customs . . .

Before moving to the Philippines my wife & I shipped about 15 boxes to the PH and over a 10 year span another 40 to 50 boxes with never any trouble.

Upon moving here customs never checked our luggage, just waved us through.

Before moving here I made arrangements with a re-mailer for all my important mail to be bundled and sent FedEX when I accumulated enough to warrant the cost.

Last December I decided to bundle stuff (piggy back) with my mail. My stuff was embargoed by customs because one of the declared items was Baby Aspirins. I had to get a Doctors prescription for the dose and exact number of Aspirins. It took a month to get my package after it entered the PH, plus charges for storage & anything else they could soak me for.

Recently I piggy backed Omega Fish Oil & Krill Oil with my mail. Now customs has embargoed this shipment because I need FDA approval for more the 500 grams of oil.

WTF . . . . . You want to move to PH?

Prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
