The must-try activities in Colombia

Hello everyone,

Moving to Colombia is an exciting opportunity to discover a new culture and try things you might not even have heard of before. To make sure other expats and expats-to-be do not miss a thing, would you be able to answer the following questions on activities not-to-be-missed in Colombia?

What are the activities everyone must try at least once in Colombia?

What are the activities that one should partake in if they want to discover the local culture?

Are there any activities that are characteristic of Colombia?

Do you have an anecdote to share about any of the activities listed above?

Please share your experience,

Priscilla

Christmas Lights in Medellin

For a once in a lifetime remarkable experience you should consider going to Medellin in December to see the Christmas light displays. I have been twice and will return again it is that good.

The Medellin Christmas lights were once excellent, but with all the recent roadworks along the river they have been dramatically reduced.

Prepagos..
And smoking a bit of "Creepy"
Oh and Ayhuasca
But definitely NOT Burrundanga

(Only a joke ja ja ja )

You must try a game of Tejo.
There is nothing like it in any other country.
And washed down with a few beers and/or aguardiente.
