Not much help here. I looked  for a manager of consortia, which has authorization from the Central Bank to operate. Could not find one here, but I was new and maybe did not now where to look. I found a real estate broker and she help with the process, but she did not know of a reliable one here. (Many scams she said.)
There was a building boom when I arrived and condos were being built. Now many are half finished and ugly sites! Broker said there was a large issues with financing and many buyers lot deposits.
Good luck amigo.

Shucks Pardner, it went like this I rode into the bank and I will give no shameless plug for the bank, I took a idoso ticket, so the manager was sitting alone and ya know nobody likes to think alone, so I went over the helpless gringo, he and I had saddled up before on the same range, so I said Mister I want to buy a car with no money down,, he spoke how much , so I counted the money at the table for the dealing was done, he folded told to go to another table, he was a good old boy escorted me to the table, he explained, the bid, the consortium and I said I have no money,  he told the new dealer to extend me credit with a specific amount, he asked for a small amount  for the first payment on 73 months and I said June 4 and he told the new dealer to ante up and on June 4 or earlier I  recieve the amountil and pick out the new Pony....

now that's called Husslin, for Russelers get shot in the pinky toe...lmbo. ...
Next move the House same tactic, I am looking for a Project the Bank is vested in...lol...they want there investment back and I am a well behaved gringo, now to get the Life Insurance,  we leave no horse or trail unbroken. ...yeehaa and boorah...smh

Bought one of them there Focus HB. Hope your dealer better than mine. First rain water poured thru the hatch back an soaked all carpets and seats. (Leather) Took them 3 tries to fix the issue. Gen Mgr did not care. Wrote a letter to "Fix or repair daily" FORD President in S.A. no response.
Got to love  the US "Lemon Law".
Still have it but will not buy one here. Think Ford is try to deal with Renault or VW in S.A. already closed the Big Truck building down in BR

Consortiums were financial instruments to help Brazilians to acquire their autos, and now have been extended towards housing.

Primary reason they existed in the first place, was the atrocious interest rates Brazilians pay for just about every financed item.

Consider them to be some sort of lay-away plan where you can play the odds to withdraw your item after some paid installments on a lottery draw like.

Never a big fan of it.  But for Brazilians, who buy on the budget and on payment plans, it is a big deal.

I asked for no Swags, you are the 3rd most negative person I have interacted withon this site allways doom and gloom, you have no clue of what people want to do, and yes I throw shade at your comments, you need to pull your head out of the sand and enter the no for profit areana, it is for Permanent Residents, now SP you must be a friend of Sp Mike as you are a delusional old man...there I said it,,..in the future keep you negativity in your mind.. I have purchased a car through this program, next a home, I guess your commission is cut..now get a life , I am 63 years of age and 2 years in Brazil and doing fine..now go rip  some people off, your mad for it is cutting into your game. .lol
