Return ticket 180 days later

We are going to Mauritius and will stay the full 180 days. I know we get only 90 on arrival and have to go for an extension. We booked a return flight 178 days later, is this ok for immigration on arrival? We have proof of accommodation, funds and a recommendation letter.

We are from Belgium.

The 90 days on arrival is only a theoretical figure. The number of days allocated is the prerogative of the border agent at passport control on arrival in Mauritius. It can be a full 90-day or less.
The 178 days return ticket should be good provided you get the full stay on arrival and for your extension. If you are granted less days for your stay, it can create issues with your ticket.
