Can I get my required Health Certificate after I arrive in Vietnam?

Greetings:

Right now, I am living in Khartoum, Sudan, but I have been offered a teaching position at a  private school in Ho Chi Minh City. The city has sent me a checklist of things to bring to Vietnam, but I am hoping that this forum can help clarify some items on the checklist for me:

“The school requires a health certificate. The checklist states “notarized and legalized copy and its certified Vietnamese translation if issued in foreign country.”

However, I was told that I could get the health certificate after I arrived in Vietnam at an authorized Vietnamese clinic or hospital. Does anyone know the facts on this? Any information given is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can do it here in HCMC.
In fact that's what most of us do for our WP applications.
One of those "authorized" clinics is Care 1, Family Medical Practice in D1.
Professional English speaking staff, it will cost just over 2 mill VND .
