Immigration lawyer

Does anyone have any information about an immigration lawyer you or someone you know have used in Brazil?

Unlike the US, immigration law is an extremely rare specialty in Brazil.  Brazilian law faculties treat it as a subtopic of International Law, which in itself is a rare specialty.  You already know that you're not going to find an immigration lawyer in Lagarto; you probably won't find one in Aracaju, either.  You MAY find one in Salvador.
From a practical point of view, the most useful approach might be to find a smart general lawyer who graduated recently from a good school (Universidade Federal de Sergipe would do) and so hasn't forgotten the immigration law s/he DID learn, and have him or her do the research to represent you.

I got my visa with help of Newland Chase: https://newlandchase.com/immigration-ca … as/brazil/
I recommend their service.
