Retirement visa

Good evening
I am a resident in Bahrain from last 41 years. Last year in June 2018 I retired from my job. I served on company for 34 years. I submitted my all documents in immigration bldg. 2 for applying self sponsor visa. My application was acceptrd and told me that it will take around 2 months. Now almost 9 months passed. Whenever I visit at immigration to inquire about my visa status. They said Not ready. Check after one week. Couples time I asked them is there any problum in my documents or application is rejected. They told all documents are ok and application is in process. It is in last stage. Only signature remaining. I am worried and I dont know how long will take. Can anyone please advise that how long will take to get my self sponsor visa.
