Hi All, my friend in India got an offer from an employer in Netherlands. He got the entry visa valid for 90 days. Now his employer in India wants to send him to Netherlands. Can he travel on same visa issued by employer in Netherlands but work for his Indian company in Netherlands or he will have to get another MVV entry visa raised. Please help.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

A 90-day visa is a tourist visa and your friend will not be able to work in the Netherlands on this visa.

There are many options; the Dutch government department (IND) responsible for this has a website that lists them all; this link will take you there.

My opinion is that he has 2 options, he could apply for MVV as you've mentioned, or maybe the job qualifies for a skilled migrant visa; the difference between the 2 is that MVV involves him learning Dutch and taking an exam before they will grant the visa and it takes up to 90 days to process once he applies. The skilled migrant visa does not need a Dutch language exam and can be put through in days providing the employer is registered with IND.
